In this exciting week, you will learn everything you need to survive in the great outdoors! Every day there is a new, exciting activity on the agenda:
Monday - Knots and rope techniques:
Learn to tie important knots such as the sheet knot and bowline. You can use these knots to secure objects, set up tents or stow supplies.
Tuesday - Campfire:
Learn how to light a campfire without a lighter! You will learn how to select firewood, light the fire safely and look after it to provide warmth and food.
Wednesday - First aid:
You will practise first aid measures such as dressing wounds and applying bandages. This way you will know how to care for yourself and others in the event of minor injuries.
Thursday - Water sources:
Learn how to find water in nature and purify it using simple filters. An important survival skill!
Friday - Orientation:
Use a map and compass for an exciting treasure hunt. In the end, you'll be a real nature navigator!
