CompanyKids Kiel is a public three-group childcare center with a crèche group for 10 children aged 0 to 3 years, a mixed-age group for children aged 0 to 6 years and an elementary group for children aged 3 to 6 years. The core opening hours for the groups are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with an early morning service from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. available on request.

Admission criteria: Our childcare center has three different groups. We accept children between the ages of 0 and six. We make sure that the age mix is as balanced as possible and that there is a mixture of girls and boys. Naturally, children of all nationalities and cultures are welcome.

In addition, CompanyKids Kiel offers company back-up care in emergency and problem situations (e.g. childminder ill, childcare center closed, an official appointment, no suitable vacation care), flexible regular care as well as day or hourly care at agreed times. In addition to many events, we organize exciting project weeks during the vacations.

The opening hours for emergency care depend on the needs of the parents - in principle, we are there for the children around the clock, 365 days a year. During the school holidays, numerous school children also take part in our vacation program.

Our claim

Company Kids Kiel works according to the nationwide quality concept of the pme Familienservice and is audited and certified annually. The self-education of each individual child is the focus of our daily activities. Curiosity and the desire to learn are stimulated and encouraged in an age-appropriate manner. We attach particular importance to:

• Exploring and experimenting with science

We regularly explore the surrounding area with the children and visit the nearby public library, buy fresh fruit and vegetables at the weekly market and play in all the playgrounds and parks in the neighborhood. We also apply high quality standards when selecting our childminders.

Premises

Our rooms are bright and colorful. A large group room offers special play areas and a variety of stimulating materials. In a cozy corner, the youngest children find a quiet zone in the middle of the hustle and bustle, while the large building corner invites them to playfully construct with various materials. The painting and craft table sets no limits to creativity and the play and reading shelf offers numerous other opportunities for play.
In the sleeping and romping area, children can build, romp and slide around with different sized foam elements. If required, a quiet room can be created in seconds. Our kitchen is available for children and parents to socialize and there is space to run around and play in the courtyard. We also use playgrounds in the surrounding area.
 

Nutrition

Shared meals are fun and structure the day. There are regular cooking days to teach the children how to prepare a healthy and child-friendly lunch. We attach great importance to organic and fresh food. If necessary, we also cater for special dietary requirements (vegetarian, diet for allergies). The monthly children's menu day is particularly exciting. For this day, the children of the facility put together the menu!

Our back-up service offers parents the opportunity to bring their children to the facility earlier or later when work calls.
