Our Kids & Co. Unterlindau in Frankfurt's Westend district was founded in February 2010 on the initiative of Commerzbank. We offer reliable, regular childcare with flexible childcare hours and the aim of achieving a better work-life balance.
 

Opening hours

The Kids & Co. Unterlindau is open from Monday to Friday from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm. There are no fixed drop-off and pick-up times. With the exception of weekends and public holidays, as well as Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, the facility is open all year round.

On the ground floor is our kindergarten with 4 groups with children aged 3-6 years (until they start school). There are no sharing places in the kindergarten. On the 1st floor is our crèche with 4 groups and children aged 8 weeks to 3 years. The composition of the groups is based on a balanced ratio of older and younger children. Due to the place-sharing procedure in the crèche, parents can choose whether their children attend the facility on two, three or four fixed full days per week or full-time.
 

Quality

Our focus is on the child! Our qualified staff (including state-approved educators, qualified teachers and qualified social pedagogues) offer reliable relationships and respond individually to the children. Curiosity and the desire to learn are stimulated and encouraged. Kids & Co. Unterllindau works according to the high quality standards of the pme Familienservice.

We attach particular importance to:

• the artistic-creative area: The combination of music, language and movement contributes to the holistic development of the children.

• the aesthetic area and artistic design: The children are given the opportunity to get to know different materials and to experiment creatively and playfully.

• the motor skills area: stimulating movement in the room and outdoors

• Animal-assisted education: Keeping and caring for animals is an integral part of the educational work in our facilities. Empirical findings confirm the positive influence of animal care on children's development.

• Toy Talk - English for the little ones: Simple rhymes, kneeling riders, finger games and songs train oral motor skills and children learn their first English words.

• Early English: It is an exciting innovative learning concept for children from kindergarten age to the end of 4th grade. The "Singing and Learning English with Annie and Alex" concept is based on short, catchy songs that build on each other and form part of a sequel story.

• Little researchers: In cooperation with the "Haus der kleinen Forscher" initiative, the children's spirit of discovery is awakened with the help of small experiments in everyday group activities.

• Organizing the transition from kindergarten to elementary school.

The holistic preparation of children for school begins on the first day of kindergarten. It relates both to the strengthening of basic skills and to the development of school-related skills on which school can build (e.g. language development, exposure to written culture, mathematical education, scientific and technical education).

Premises

The facility allows the children both movement and rest. It meets the highest safety standards. Child-friendly group rooms, cozy bedrooms, recreation rooms for parents as well as functional rooms (Pikler movement room, studio, research room and preschool room) and a wide range of pedagogically valuable play materials are available. We spend a lot of time outside on our outdoor area and with the handcart in the green spaces in the surrounding area.
 

Nutrition

At Kids & Co. Unterllindau we offer a healthy, child-friendly, balanced and vitamin-rich diet. All meals are freshly prepared for the children in our kitchen every day. The child's individual situation is taken into account in consultation with the parents.
