The childminder is ill, childcare center is closed or there is no suitable vacation care available? The Ruhrpiraten are a company back-up facility for childcare in emergency and problem situations - 365 days a year around the clock for children from 0 to approx. 12 years. During the vacations, we offer a varied vacation program.

The Ruhrpiraten work according to the nationwide quality concept of the pme Familienservice and are audited and certified annually. Curiosity and the desire to learn are stimulated and encouraged in an age-appropriate manner. Our benchmark is the well-being of the children, which we achieve through our well-trained staff and the wide range of play and activities on offer.

The Ruhrpiraten have three inviting rooms and their own small kitchen. The large, child-friendly and functional room is divided into various multifunctional corners. These corners are constantly being redesigned according to the children's wishes and needs. This allows the children to gain a variety of play and learning experiences in a safe and child-friendly environment. The second, slightly smaller room is also set up in a toddler-friendly way. Small tables and chairs, a doll's kitchen and much more await our little visitors. Right next to the toddler area is our sleeping and changing area, which is also ideal for dreaming, reading aloud and playing outside of sleeping hours.

Our rooms are located directly next to the large parking lot to the right of the main entrance to the Girardethaus. The Christinenpark and the Grugapark with playgrounds and green spaces are in the immediate vicinity. The A 52 and A 40 highways are easily accessible.
