Welcome to the Back-up Karlsruhe!

Emergencies do not announce themselves, so you have the option of having your children looked after by us as a back-up. Just give us a call and we will organize childcare for you or your child.
 

Our service

The employees of our cooperating companies in Karlsruhe have the opportunity to have their children from the age of approx. 12 weeks to approx. 12 years looked after in our back-up facility. This arrangement is used by families in situations where organized regular childcare is not available. The childcare is available to parents all year round. Any restrictions on the duration of use are agreed with our company contacts and communicated to employees accordingly.

Children from 0 to 6 years are looked after at childcare center Karibu Kids. Children from 7 to 12 years are looked after in our branch near the city center. During the closing times of "Karibu Kids", childcare also takes place in the branch. Registration and organization is handled by the Karlsruhe branch. 
 

Our premises

The Karibu Kids facility, where the back-up care will usually take place, is located in the Rossweide industrial estate in Hagsfeld. There is a large forest and meadow area nearby. There is also an outdoor area for the children to play. Limited parking spaces are available for parents

The Karlsruhe branch in Karlsruhe's Weststadt district is located close to the city center, right next to the "Mühlburger Tor" streetcar stop (no parking spaces available for parents) and was opened by pme in 2013. There are adventurous children's playgrounds nearby (e.g. at Weinbrenner Platz). On foot or by public transport, you can quickly and easily reach popular excursion destinations such as the zoo, the castle park, the natural history museum, the Center for Art and Media Technology and many more.

Nutrition

The branch cooks its own food; Karibu Kids is supplied daily by "apetito" (hot delivery). Children bring their own breakfast. Drinks, hot lunch and snacks are served in the afternoon, and a small evening meal may be provided if childcare is needed for longer.

Information
