A childcare center for researching,
exploring and experiencing in Karlsruhe

Our childcare center is located close to nature, right next to a forest. We go exploring there and in our outdoor area almost every day. Our four group rooms also offer the children plenty of space and opportunities to develop and grow.

In each of our three mixed-age crèche groups, we look after 10 children from eight weeks old until they start kindergarten. In our kindergarten group, we look after 20 children from the age of three until they start school.

We are supplied with fresh, seasonal, varied and child-friendly lunches every day. Parents bring their own breakfast and snack. In the spirit of participation, we allow each child to have their own independent eating experience.

Our newly designed outdoor area offers a variety of motor challenges and adventures for young and old. In the adjacent forest and along the Pfinz Canal with its rich biodiversity, children can make a variety of discoveries.

Our pedagogical focus is on animal-assisted education, language development, artistic-creative development and our movement concept according to Emmi Pikler and Elfriede Hengstenberg. We are a certified childcare center of the "Kinder Forschen" foundation.
