The sternchen is a childcare center for children from 8 weeks to three years of age. All sternchen on behalf of Daimler Truck AG, at a total of 4 locations throughout Germany, fulfill an age- and development-appropriate care and education mandate. For this purpose, an educational concept specially designed for Daimler was developed in conjunction with a valid quality manual.

Great importance is attached to intensive and individual care of the children in small groups by qualified, pedagogical staff. Our flexible childcare offer (core hours: Mon - Fri from 07:00 to 17:30, place sharing possible) is based on the needs of the parents. Our facility is only closed on a few days during the summer vacations and between Christmas and New Year.
 

Premises

Our child-friendly rooms offer the children play and adventure spaces in which they can romp around and at the same time find quiet retreats. The above-average childcare ratio enables the teachers to deal intensively and individually with each individual child, with their inclinations and talents, and to create plenty of space for loving attention.
 

Nutrition

Healthy eating habits (breakfast and lunch together as well as an afternoon snack) and consideration for individual dietary requirements, e.g. allergies, are a matter of course for us.
