It has space for 40 children from the age of two months until they start school. The childcare places are available not only to employees of Axel Springer SE and other cooperation partners, but also to families from the surrounding area.

The Wolkenzwerge-Grashüpfer work in close cooperation with childcare center Wolkenzwerge, which has been run in cooperation with Axel Springer SE since 2008 and offers space for 80 children. Further information about childcare center Wolkenzwerge can be found here.

Opening hours

We offer needs-based childcare with very flexible hours. The facility is open all year round from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and is only closed at weekends and on public holidays.

Group structure

The facility consists of two groups for children aged 0 to 3 years, each with a maximum of 10 children, and a multi-age elementary area for 20 children aged 3 to 6 years. The early service from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. and the late service from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. usually takes place in a selected group across groups.
