The childcare center Walljunioren in Bremen's city center (Am Wall 172-173 and Am Wall 175-177) was established as a public institution on the initiative of the Bremen Chamber of Commerce and in consultation with the Senator for Children and Education.

With a total of 7 groups, 4 crèche groups and 3 elementary groups, we offer space for a total of 100 children.

Our opening hours

Our opening hours are from:

Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm.

We also offer early and late care from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.

We offer opening hours from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for our company occupancy spaces.

The facility is closed for our public spaces at the following times:

08.-12.07.24 Holiday emergency care - by appointment only

15-28.07.24 Summer vacation, childcare center is closed for everyone except for children with places available

29-31.07.24 Concept days for the team, childcare center is closed for everyone

Team

The facility is always managed by a pedagogical specialist. Organizational and planning tasks are professionally supported by a supra-regional childcare center management team. 

The childcare team consists of professionally qualified and trained educational staff who work on the basis of our educational concept.

Room concept

Each pme Familienservice facility has an individual room concept that is geared towards the needs of the respective age group. We design flexible room concepts that adapt to the different needs of the children and meet the necessary safety standards.

In our facility, we offer a wide range of exercise options with climbing towers and two exercise rooms.

As our facility does not have an outdoor area, we use the ramparts right outside the door and the surrounding playgrounds.

Nutrition

We attach great importance to a healthy, child-friendly, balanced and vitamin-rich diet. Meals structure the daily routine and give the children the opportunity and time to talk together.

All children are provided with full board (breakfast, lunch and snack).

Our house has a fresh kitchen where our cook prepares the food fresh every day. We use many organic and regional products in the preparation.

Media education

Media (including digital media) are an integral part of the home environment for many children. To give children an age-appropriate, age-appropriate use ("Where do I get the knowledge? How do I behave with it?"), each of our groups has an iPad for use.

Our app:
So that you can receive daily information from childcare center , all parents receive a link to our app. Here you can access your child's data, see how well they have eaten, how long they have slept and what the group has been up to. You can also contact us via the messenger function. Calls and personal conversations are also very welcome.
