Our facility
The CompanyKids Hafencity facility is located in the heart of Hamburg's Hafencity, currently the most exciting and largest inner-city construction project in Europe.
Our childcare center is open to employees of our contracted companies (company places) and also to private individuals (public places). Both childcare services are based on the Hamburg voucher system. Please ask your employer whether they offer voucher places or back-up in cooperation with the pme Familienservice .
The children are looked after from Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (other opening hours as required). On 20 days a year - childcare center closing days, e.g. for structural days and further training - childcare center is closed for children with public places. Childcare is also provided for children with company places on childcare center closing days. On public holidays and on December 24 and 31, childcare center is closed for all children.
In our facility, we look after children from the age of 8 weeks until they start school. We currently offer a total of 80 childcare places. We look after the children in two crèche groups with 15 children each and an elementary area (open concept).
Our premises
The two crèche groups have their own checkroom, group, sleeping and sanitary areas as well as their own outdoor area. There is also an exercise room specially designed to meet the needs of toddlers. The central meeting point for the elementary children is the "children's restaurant" on the first floor. This is where the children come together for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Outside meal times, children can occupy themselves here with a variety of (movement) options. All chairs and tables can be included in play activities and "played with".
A bathing area, the library, the "construction room", a learning workshop and the role-play room as well as a studio are available to all children at the facility.
The premises of the elementary area are used according to the main topics offered.
New: Parents' day in our back-up
On the first Saturday of every month, our back-up facility CompanyKids Back-up Hamburg is open to separated parents who are visiting their child in another city. Here, parents and children can play together or take a break in a cozy atmosphere. Our parent days are free of charge and can be used by all employees of our contract companies. In our back-up you can play with your child in a quiet atmosphere, relax or take a break between excursions. Our back-up is furnished in a child-friendly way and equipped with a wide range of play materials and books. Tables, cooking facilities and crockery are also available so that children can have a snack together with food they have brought with them.
