childcare center Schloßkinder is a facility close to the company where up to 75 children can be looked after at the same time. Three crèche groups (0 - 3 years) and one mixed-age group (0 years - school entry) are run in cooperation with our contractual partners, while one crèche group and kindergarten group (3 years - school entry) are open to the public for Stuttgart children. The Schloßkinder was opened in April 2009, expanded in 2011 to include the company mixed-age group and in 2014 to include a company crèche group and the public kindergarten group.

The Schloßkinder are open Monday to Friday from 7.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. depending on demand, and also until 7.00 p.m. depending on the contract (only for some company places).

In addition to regular childcare, we offer companies and institutions "back-up places" for bottleneck situations to reconcile family and career. Our highly flexible back-up offer can be used "around the clock" if required. Schloßkinder is centrally located and easily accessible by public transport.

Space allocation for public spaces

When allocating places for public places, children whose main place of residence is in Stuttgart and who have registered a need for a place at the time it becomes available will be considered on the basis of educational criteria. Children who already attend the facility or their siblings are given priority.
Serious reasons for an urgent need for a place will be included in the allocation of places, provided they are actively communicated in writing.
