Senior coaching: advice on all issues relating to old age

New: With our SeniorCoaching service, we now also offer direct advice for family members of working people.

Whether it is a question of self-determined living and coping with everyday life with confidence, illness or financing old age: our senior coaches advise older relatives of working people in a confidential setting on everything they need to know to cope well with this stage of life.

Topics may include

  • Self-determined living.
  • Apartment adaptation.
  • Powers of attorney.
  • Inheritance and bequests.
  • Insurance cover.
  • Disease patterns in old age and dealing with diagnoses.
  • Reorientation and change, e.g. crises of meaning, farewell, grief.
  • Family conflicts and partnership problems.

Older people can use us autonomously

Senior citizens have a neutral point of contact for all questions with the senior coaching service. They can contact our coaches directly without involving their relatives. Talking to our senior coaches can help provide more clarity and is also a way of discussing more sensitive issues without having to involve your own children.

Relief for working people

Working people with older relatives are significantly relieved by this direct counseling channel. They can delegate difficult conversations to a neutral person and gain more credibility in their own role, e.g. as a daughter or son. If your relatives are well informed and have gained inner clarity, they can also go about their professional work with peace of mind - without feeling that they have not fulfilled their responsibilities.

"Older people are much more conditioned to individualization and self-responsibility in their lifestyle than previous generations. At the same time, they need support and have expectations of their children. The all-encompassing secularization also means that pastoral services are no longer available. However, older people in particular have a great need to talk about existential issues (death, illness, change) and to process and classify past experiences (guilt, neglect, offense). We can meet these needs even better with our senior coaching service."
