AOK absenteeism report
(AOK, 14.09.2017) A separation, serious illness or the death of a close relative - crises have a significant impact on the professional lives of those affected. Every second person affected feels that their performance is limited or goes to work sick, as the Scientific Institute of the AOK (WIdO) found out in a representative survey of 2,000 employees. "Around half of those in employment have been affected by a critical life event in the last five years. The consequences are serious for employees and employers," says Helmut Schröder, Deputy Managing Director of the WIdO.
