(Mittelbayerische, 02.08.2017) On behalf of the Bavarian Ministry of Social Affairs, the Seniorenakademie Bayern and the LandesSeniorenVertretung Bayern e.V. held their basic training course for municipal senior citizens' representatives in Schwandorf, Bavaria. Jürgen Griesbeck from the pme Akademie gGmbH discussed important points on the establishment, function and working methods of senior citizens' representatives with senior citizens' councils, spokespersons and representatives.
In an exchange of experiences with the senior citizens' representatives, speaker Jürgen Griesbeck showed, among other things, which methods are helpful for recruiting volunteers and what needs to be considered in practical work. Four topics were used to work out how these can be put into practice: Health in old age, digitalization, living in old age and care.
