Help, the medical service is coming! - Preparing for the care assessment

In order to be entitled to financial benefits from the care insurance fund, an assessment of the need for help and care is first required, which is carried out by experts from the Medical Service (MD).

During the interview, those affected often present their life situation much more positively than it really is, as the care assessment is perceived as a test that needs to be passed. Actual problems are often played down or concealed out of shame, with the result that those affected are ultimately not awarded the level of care they require and are denied the necessary care insurance benefits.
