pme Familienservice donates 3,000 euros for new young talent award
- "Intergenerational cohesion and solidarity" prize for young talent awarded for the first time
- Registrations possible until July 31, 2023
In the face of an ageing society, Germany faces the challenge of strengthening cohesion between younger and older people. This is also the aim of the new "Intergenerational Cohesion and Solidarity" award, which will be presented at the congress on September 14, 2023 in Berlin.
We are looking for initiatives by young people (aged 14 to 24) who are committed to intergenerational dialog and cohesion in an innovative and creative way. Associations, initiatives and groups can take part. The criteria are intergenerational character, exemplary effect, transferability and voluntary work.
The Young Talent Award is presented by a nine-member jury consisting of partners of the congress, including Alexa Ahmad, CEO of the pme Familienservice Group, who is looking forward to a lively participation of young initiatives: "In times of enormous demographic change in Germany, we want to support those young people who are particularly committed to the future of us all. With this award, we hope to motivate more organizations in the future to get involved in intergenerational cooperation."
