The wait was worth it - grand opening of the Miele-childcare center Ideenreich.

We celebrated in summer temperatures: The official opening of Miele'schildcare center Ideenreich. Sabine Peters and the Ideenreich team came up with a lot of ideas for the occasion: On the beautiful outdoor area of childcare center , there was a make-up corner, a bouncy castle and a balloon artist in addition to the actual play facilities. The Miele plant fire department was also on site and gave parents and their children a view of the festival from above - they were able to ride up in a lift truck...quite high indeed! There was also plenty of food: fruit, ice cream, waffles, grilled sausages, salad, chips - everything your heart desires.

After Sabine Peters opened the party, several other people also took the opportunity to congratulate the Ideenreich: Dr. Markus Miele and Dr. Reinhard Zinkann (both Managing Partners of Miele), Olaf Bartsch (Managing Director Finance and Head Office), the Mayor of Gütersloh Henning Schulz and Britta Hüfing (pme Familienservice), who thanked the various teams for their excellent cooperation: "A great project!"

The children also got involved with two surprises: at the beginning, they thanked the responsible persons with a song: Ich schenk' dir einen Regenbogen with musical accompaniment from Sabine Peters and vocal support from the team. The second surprise was a rehearsed dance, which was performed together with the supervisors Karina, Nicme, Nelli and Nicole - great! The crowning finale was a visit from children's musician herrH, during which the children were able to join in the celebrations and clap their hands.

zero Cooperation between pme Familienservice and emergency midwife

Midwife emergency service

pme Familienservice Group makes it easier for customers to access midwifery help

Lack of midwife advice makes it difficult to start with a baby

Over 20 percent of mothers do not make use of postnatal care because there is no midwife available in their immediate vicinity. According to the study "Lack of midwives in Germany" (2018), medical questions about child health are the most important topic for new parents during postnatal care. Especially during the postpartum period, the lack of adequate midwife care is very worrying for the health of mother and child. The lack of security puts a strain on families as they embark on this new phase of life.

Quick access to midwifery knowledge

Katharina Jeschke is an experienced midwife from Bremen. She has been sharing her knowledge about pregnancy, birth, postpartum and recovery with her online service "Notdiensthebamme" for several years now. "The time around the birth of a child is a sensitive phase for many parents-to-be. It is particularly important to receive specific help from an experienced midwife on the topics that are important to them. With the help of my extensive online offering, I can provide personal advice at any time without having to be on site," says Jeschke. pme parent consultant Christian Keller adds: "With the online video courses on birth preparation, postnatal recovery and baby care, we support expectant and new parents with low-threshold access to specialist medical knowledge about childbirth. In this way, we provide more relaxation during this time".

Cooperation enables comprehensive support

Whether childcare, nursing or parenting advice: the pme Familienservice Group supports families in many areas of everyday life. With the "emergency midwife service", the company is expanding its portfolio to include midwifery support. "Through this cooperation, we can support parents throughout the entire process, from family planning to becoming a family to being a family," emphasizes Jeschke. "We also offer parents a convenient way to complete the birth preparation course together from home. This means that both parents have the same level of knowledge - which helps them to make decisions on an equal footing," adds Keller.
