zero pme Familienservice best employer for the third time

On January 28, 2016, it was that time again. For the fourth time, the "Best Employers in Germany" were honored at the Berlin Museum of Communication. Together with XING, the leading professional network in the German-speaking world, and kununu, the largest German-language employer rating portal, the renowned news magazine FOCUS presented the award to outstanding medium-sized and large companies - including the pme Familienservice Group - at a gala evening event.
Best employer in the "Health and social services" category
For the third time in a row, the pme Familienservice Group received the "Employer of the Year" award as the best medium-sized company in the "Health and Social Affairs" sector. Managing Director Alexa Ahmad is delighted with the award: "The award is recognition of our progressive HR policy, which our team members value."
The pme Familienservice Group employs more than 1,600 people in total. And they gave their employer an astonishing result in the annual anonymous employee survey: Over 90 percent of all respondents are very satisfied with their working conditions and are happy to tell their relatives and friends about their workplace.
Healthy employees, satisfied employees
To ensure that employees remain satisfied with their jobs, the 2016 employee survey focused, among other things, on the topic of "health at work". One result was that the majority of employees could very well imagine taking a sabbatical to take time out. "Following the survey, we worked with our health management team to set up working time and credit accounts in which vacation, overtime and salary can be saved for a sabbatical," explains Alexa Ahmad.
In addition, as a leading provider of work-life balance services, pme Familienservice offers its employees its entire range of consulting and placement services as well as other family-friendly measures.
These include, among others:
-
Flexible working hours,
-
mobile office options,
-
Use of our own advisory services, such as arranging childcare,
-
Free lunch for all employees,
-
Up to 10 days' continued payment of wages when caring for relatives and much more
To the study
Around 70,000 employees were surveyed by the news magazine FOCUS with the support of the career network XING and the Hamburg-based data company Statista to find out how satisfied they are with their employer. The study participants answered more than 50 questions about their job: How varied is the work? Is your manager loyal to their employees? What is the training program like? Is it possible to work from home? The result: 1000 employers offer outstanding working conditions. The companies were assigned to 22 sectors. The study also differentiates between large companies and medium-sized companies with 500 or more employees. The Kununu rating platform contributed valid employee assessments.
The results of the study have been published in the FOCUS SPEZIAL "Best Employers 2016". The magazine has been available in stores since January 29, 2016.
