living will

The pme Familienservice invites you to a free expert lecture "Living will and health care proxy" with care expert Jürgen Griesbeck:

Monday, June 26, 2017
at 17:30
in the Augsburg City Library

Why should this happen to us of all people? An accident or a serious illness that suddenly puts us in a situation where we can no longer express our own will? But what if it does happen? Then it depends on whether you have completed a health care proxy and living will. This is because you determine who will make important decisions for you if you are no longer able to do so. And you relieve your relatives, who have to decide on measures that affect your life in an emergency. After all, even the closest relatives and friends are often unable to express the patient's wishes or can only do so with uncertainty.

But what exactly is a living will and what is a health care proxy, care proxy and general power of attorney? What should you look out for in the wording? Even if you have a living will and a health care proxy, there is often still a lot of room for interpretation. It is important that concrete statements are made. Jürgen Griesbeck, care expert at pme Familienservice, presents various forms of advance care and answers questions on this topic.

The expert lecture "Living will and health care proxy" will take place on Monday, June 26, 2017, in the Augsburg City Library (Ernst-Reuter-Platz 1) from 5:30 - 7:30 pm.

All interested parties are cordially invited. Binding registration is required at the e-mail address: maria.frey@familienservice.de. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
