Promoter of renewable energies
"I find it impressive how much impact it has when a rather abstract topic like climate change is brought to life. Our illustrative environmental education projects are met with great enthusiasm by children and young people," says pme employee Peter Fischer. He supports the "Freunde und Förderer von erneuerbaren Energien e.V." association, which aims to raise awareness of climate protection among children and young people in particular, including in the development of new projects.
A selection of previous projects:
- Open Expo, an artistically creative project that invites schoolchildren to engage with the topic of climate change in a playful way.
- Action days at schools with stations on the topics of energy, energy efficiency and energy sources.
- WiegeWoge, a play equipment that playfully raises awareness of the potential of renewable energies.
- GeneRADor: Energy is produced on a bicycle with the help of a generator, which is used for various everyday appliances.
Donations are needed to get further creative projects off the ground.
