5th Anniversary – Our World of Adventure Is Celebrating!
The fifth anniversary of the “ childcare center ” Adventure World took place on September 25, 2026, under perfect weather conditions. Following the welcome and opening remarks by Wolke Miehe (deputy director), Linda Kiryakos (organization representative), Frank Prüße (mayor of Lehrte), Heike Köhler (mayor of Ahlten, member of the state parliament), and Nadja Siemers (parent representative), the in-house “Adventure Rap” kicked off the program and marked the start of a varied afternoon.
There were plenty of hands-on activities for the children and their families to discover. At various stations, guests could get creative, try new things, and be active together. These included, among other things, a bounce house, a button-making station, making slingshot balls, a treasure hunt, and a climbing course. Games and physical activities were available on the “magical” play mat. In the experiment room, the children could also explore, observe, and conduct exciting experiments.
Refreshments were also well taken care of. A varied buffet and a food truck offered opportunities to refuel and encouraged guests to eat together and linger. Special moments from the anniversary celebration were captured at the photo booth.
A special guest sparked even more excitement: Karl Klecks attended the anniversary celebration and was a real highlight of the afternoon, especially for the children.
The summery weather contributed significantly to the special atmosphere of the celebration. Thanks to the bright sunshine, most of the activities were able to take place outdoors. Under the awning, the seating areas provided a pleasant spot for good conversations. Parents, families, staff, and guests took the opportunity to chat and enjoyed their time together.
A cheerful and relaxed atmosphere was evident throughout the afternoon. The anniversary thus provided not only a reason to celebrate, but also an opportunity to look back together on five years of “ childcare center ’s World of Adventure” and to highlight the bonds between children, families, staff, and the organization.
