The childcare center Ideenreich is a place where children are seen as researchers and creators of their environment. We focus on STEM subjects and are guided by Emmi Pikler's basic pedagogical approach.

Our specialist staff carefully guide the children in their individual development process, create a prepared environment and give them space to develop freely. Whether in the spacious group rooms, the STEM room, the gym or the outdoor area - there is always plenty to discover and try out so that each child can develop at their own pace.

Groups & Size

We look after children from 4 months to school age in six groups. In two groups, 10 children aged 0.4 to 3 years each play, in another group 20 children aged 2 - 5 years and on the upper floor, 20 children aged 3 to 6 years each spend their childcare center in three groups.

Everyday language support, the MINT focus, active participation and the movement concept according to Emmi Pikler and Elfriede Hengstenberg are the pillars of our educational work.

For us, mealtimes are educational opportunities in which children experience participation. Every day, we offer a varied breakfast (e.g. muesli, bread) and a freshly cooked lunch with three choices. We take dietary requirements and intolerances into account if necessary.

If your child's regular care is canceled (daycare closing days, childminder sick, school vacations, bridging days, etc.), we offer back-up care where a specially trained specialist looks after your child on our premises. Please contact us if required.

Outdoor area

We use our garden almost every day. Here we observe natural phenomena, e.g. insects, earthworms, the changing seasons and the growing and maturing of plants. The children also enjoy whizzing down the fantastic bobby car race track and socializing with children from other groups.

Mathematics, computer science, nature and technology are everywhere in everyday life. We support the children in their curiosity through questions, activities and stimuli and give them time and space to discover, research and develop their own ideas for solutions. We are certified by the "Kinder forschen" foundation.
