Training courses in 2026 for Munich daycare providers

Dear childminders in Munich,

Caring for children is a demanding task that you face in your everyday working life. Continuing education and training are key to ensuring quality in child day care.

This allows you, as a child day care provider, to reflect on yourself and your work and to continuously develop. This sharpens your profile and allows you to present yourself to parents as professionally and personally competent.

At our training courses, you will not only receive input from our speakers, but also from other childminders, and you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and network with them.

Here you can see our current training program with courses offered until the end of 2026 at a glance.

You can register for individual training courses online directly from here.

These training courses are all recognized and funded by the Munich Youth Welfare Office. Therefore, they may only be attended by Munich childcare providers.

Our training courses are sorted by topic as shown in the brochure. If you click on the relevant area, you will be taken directly to the list of courses:

Focus on needs – set boundaries

They are a source of joie de vivre and positive self-esteem – and the most important human needs from childhood to adulthood are: autonomy, self-efficacy, and a sense of competence. If these needs are not met, aggression or withdrawal can result. But children have little opportunity to do so, because adults set limits for them and determine many of their decisions and actions in everyday life. You will learn how to empower children while still fulfilling your role of setting boundaries – especially when spending time in nature.

Self-reflection in working with children

We know how important it is in our daily work with children to be a "role model," a "beacon," and a "thoughtful companion." But do we actually know how to become a "role model," a "beacon," or a "thoughtful companion"? Experience how self-reflection on your "identity" and "self-image" can enrich your educational practice. After 3–6 weeks, you will have the opportunity to deepen your insights in a one-on-one conversation with the instructor and clarify any open questions in a conversation lasting a maximum of one hour.
