Back-up Leibniz Kids
Hanover

All employees and students of Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University can book our back-up in the Leibniz Kids rooms in the event of bottlenecks such as the failure of regular childcare or to bridge important learning and examination phases. Outside the vacations in Lower Saxony, children of employees of other cooperating companies are also looked after in the Leibniz Kids Back-up.

Up to 12 children aged between 2 months and 12 years can be cared for at Leibniz-Kids Back-up The opening hours are consistently geared towards the needs of the parents. This means that children can be looked after by the hour or by the day at short notice. Leibniz University Hannover also offers childcare for conferences and public events in institutes and research facilities.

Our back-up is available free of charge to employees and all students of our partner companies. For further information, please contact us directly.

The premises in Herrenhäuser Straße offer around 440 square meters of space for two permanent crèche groups and the back-up, each with their own bedrooms. A large exercise room encourages a variety of playful activities.

A call to the Hannover Familienservice office or to the nationwide service hotline (0800-801007080) is all it takes to register the child for the day in question. If the telephone booking is made by 6 p.m. the day before at the latest, we guarantee childcare for the following day.
