The Mia Stihl childcare center is centrally located and easy to reach. Our spacious functional rooms offer the children a wide range of opportunities to discover and try things out. The extensive outdoor area and the adjoining park allow us to promote a variety of experiences in different environments according to the children's interests.

Groups & Size

We look after a total of 60 children. In the public kindergarten group of the city of Waiblingen and the company kindergarten group of Andreas STIHL AG & Co. KG, we look after children from the age of 3 until they start school. The STIHL company crèche groups offer space for 20 children aged 6 months to 3 years. We only offer full-day places.

Outdoor area/park

Our facility allows the children to use our spacious outdoor area every day, tailored to their individual interests. Regular visits to the park, library trips and market explorations enrich our program and promote hands-on learning experiences.

Nutrition

Daily meals are provided by an external caterer. We place particular emphasis on varied meals made from regional and organic ingredients. We naturally cater for individual dietary requirements, such as vegetarian food or intolerances.

We organize everyday life in a participatory and networked way. The children are free to decide where and with whom they want to play every day. We focus on STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), media skills and a range of physical activities based on the approaches of Emmi Pikler and Elfriede Hengstenberg.
