Fall Break with the Family Center: Sewing Class

Topic:

Would you like to learn how to sew winter accessories?
Then let’s do it together.
We’ll be sewing arm warmers, leg warmers, and either a hat or a loop scarf.
Since fleece and jersey fabrics are a bit trickier to work with than cotton fabrics, we’ll start by practicing how to use the sewing machine.
Please bring plenty of food and drinks, since we’ll be taking breaks, of course.

How do you choose your vacation supervisors?

All supervisors must be at least 18 years old and have solid experience in working with children and young people . We also provide regular training for our vacation teams - including first aid courses and various training courses with different pedagogical focuses.

The vacation team is always led by an educational specialist or a supervisor who has already run vacation programs for pme Familienservice for several years.

What is the childcare ratio in the vacation programs?

It is very important to us that the children feel comfortable and secure. The following childcare ratio is a high-quality standard that we therefore always apply to our vacation programs:

6 to 12 years = 1 supervisor for 6 children

Are the supervisors trained in first aid?

Yes, we regularly train our vacation supervisors with first aid courses.

Are the children insured while they participate in the vacation program?
