Opening hours

The GIZ-childcarechildcare center is open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, the Telekom-childcarechildcare centers from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. The childcare times are flexible within the opening hours, whereby only 45 hours per week are available.

Closing times

In addition to the public holidays in NRW, the kindergartens are closed on two concept days per year and the statutory regeneration days for teaching staff. The Telekom-childcarechildcare centers are closed between Christmas and New Year, the GIZ-childcarechildcare center has no other closing days.

Groups & Size

Each Telekom house offers space for 30 crèche children and 60 children in mixed-age groups until they start school (2 - 6). The GIZ building has 20 crèche places and 20 places in mixed age groups (3-6).

Telekom's facilities implement a bilingual concept in which German and English-speaking staff work in all groups according to the immersion principle. In this way, they accompany the entire educational routine in both languages.

The individual concepts of the houses and the targeted use of the rooms focus on the needs of the participative child. While Blue (GIZ) and Yellow (Telekom) work in a partially open and increasingly networked way, the Red House (Telekom) has an open concept.
