More than just a "sad dumpling" - on dealing with depression
In Germany, more than nine million people are affected by medically diagnosed depression. Experts estimate that around 5.3 million people are newly diagnosed with depression every year - and the trend is rising.
We encounter psychological stress in both our private and professional lives - every day!
And yet there are still major uncertainties, many misunderstandings and common prejudices when it comes to dealing with affected people.
Let's talk about it!
Our ZAI trainer Wolfgang Boy talks about his experiences and how he personally deals with the illness. "Mehr als nur ein Trauerkloß" ("More than just a sad dumpling") is intended to raise awareness of the topic with impulses and food for thought in addition to tips for dealing with and meeting those affected.
Let's break down insecurities and stigmatization so that we can come together on an appreciative level.
