You will learn what makes a successful consultation and how to find the right words. 

Module 2: The life situation of family caregivers & the right care  

You will gain an insight into the challenges that family caregivers face in order to reconcile work and care. You will also find out facts, figures and data on demographic change.

Finding the right care - outpatient or inpatient?
We explain the assessment procedure of the Medical Service of the Health Insurance Funds and show you outpatient and inpatient support options. 

Module 3: Care services explained simply 

Well informed in the financial jungle: Find out everything you need to know about care costs, social assistance and severe disability in two parts.  

Module 4: Making the best provision with power of attorney, advance directives & co. 

You will receive relevant information about legal guardianship, advance care directives and living wills and find out what is important in each case. 

Module 5: Legal options for reconciling care and work 

You will learn about the options offered by care insurance to relieve the burden on family carers. This includes benefits such as short-term care and respite care as well as care leave.  

Module 6: The special care case - people with dementia  

In this module, you will learn interesting facts about the clinical picture of dementia and its special features.
