Konstantin and Julius have the best childminder of the year
Cooking meals, playing, comforting: childcare workers in private households, nannies and babysitters are multi-talented all-rounders and have become indispensable in many households. "Finding an all-rounder is not a matter of course," reports the mother of the Berlin family. "Both children are extremely lively. Konstantin often has difficulty concentrating and usually has far too little patience. Arguments between him and his younger brother Julius are often inevitable. The parents were often at the end of their tether, but then Anu came into their lives. She managed to do what no one had managed before: to deal with both children at the same time, to encourage their patience and creativity and to keep a cool head even in difficult situations.
Not a normal award ceremony
The KiP of the Year awards ceremony was held virtually for the first time. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, everyone involved decided to come together in this way. However, anyone who thinks that an award ceremony in the context of a web meeting is orderly is mistaken. The meeting was a real-life event: Both boys romped around and were delighted with the attention they and Anu were getting. They jumped through the picture, played and romped. At the end of the wild game, the Christmas tree even fell to the ground. Everyone agreed: Anu truly deserved the title of KiP of the Year. Anu was also delighted to receive the award and the prize, a gift voucher for online shopping.
About the "Childminder of the Year" competition
Childcare workers, babysitters, nannies: our childcare staff invest a lot of time and passion in the care and upbringing of the children entrusted to them. To give this unique commitment the recognition it deserves, the pme Familienservice Group has been awarding the "Childminder of the Year" prize since 2013. With this annual award, we want to raise awareness of this demanding job and draw attention to the great support that childcare provides for many families.
