Men (2) Mental load as a man? Plain talk about stress, coaching and therapy
Men often have high expectations of themselves: Professionally, privately, as a partner or father. This invisible burden, the so-called mental load, can lead to stress, excessive demands and exhaustion in the long term - but is rarely discussed openly and is often dismissed as a women's issue. This presentation shows why it is not a sign of weakness but of strength for men to deal with mental health and seek professional support through coaching or psychotherapy if necessary. We talk about how men can succeed in talking authentically about their stresses and strains, how this makes everyday life easier and also improves teamwork. There will be clear, practical ideas to motivate men to take themselves and their mental health seriously.
This talk is part of our series on men's health. We look forward to welcoming you to the other talks as well.
