Autism—a fad diagnosis or not?
Autism, or autism spectrum disorder—these terms are becoming an increasingly prominent topic in our society. And for good reason, as more and more people are being diagnosed with autism, both children and adults. But what exactly is autism, and what are its symptoms? How can we interact with people on the autism spectrum, and what resources are available to support them in daily life? Sylvia Mau-Löffler, a nursing consultant, and her son Nicolas Löffler, an autism expert who is on the autism spectrum himself, will address these and other fascinating questions in this presentation.
