Balancing Work and Caregiving: Taking an Active Role in Making It Work

Topic:

Balancing caregiving and a career takes a lot of energy. Appointments, job responsibilities, and concerns for the person in need of care can quickly throw your daily life off balance. However, there are both legal options and practical strategies available to help you better balance these demands.

In this group coaching session, family caregivers receive an overview of key options such as care leave, family care leave, short-term inability to work, vacation policies, and respite care services.

In addition to expert information, the group provides a space for discussion, reflection, and questions: What do I need to stay healthy for longer? Where can I set boundaries? How can I access support in my personal and professional life?

The goal is to gain greater clarity, confidence in taking action, and relief in the dual role of “working and caring.”
