Too Much on Your Mind? Understanding and Reducing Mental Load in Everyday Family Life

Topic:

Everyday family life involves much more than just visible tasks. Planning, organizing, thinking things through, and remembering—this invisible mental work, also known as “mental load,” can place a constant strain on parents and lead to exhaustion, stress, and conflicts.
In this group coaching session, we’ll explore the causes and effects of mental load and work together to identify ways to recognize and reduce mental strain in everyday family life. You’ll reflect on your own situation, learn practical strategies for reducing stress in daily life, and develop ideas on how to distribute responsibilities more consciously and strengthen your resources.
Through discussions with other parents, you’ll gain new perspectives and practical insights for a more relaxed family life—with greater clarity, less overwhelm, and more space for what truly makes a family.
