Top marks for our pme Lernwelten

The annual parent survey in our daycare centers and after-school care centers is an important part of pme Familienservice's quality management alongside parents' evenings, parent meetings and complaints management. Over 1,800 families took part in the Learning Worlds Parent Survey 2025.

The most important results

  • 97.2 percent of parents stated that their child enjoys attending the facility.
  • 96.5 percent bring their children to the facility with a good feeling.
  • 95.4 percent find the atmosphere of the facility friendly and inviting.
  • 95 percent stated that the educational staff respond to their child's needs and interests.
  • For 96.6 percent, the opening hours of the facility meet their needs.

What the parents say

In addition to options to click on, parents had the opportunity to formulate free feedback. The friendliness and openness of the teaching staff, the good childcare ratio and the long opening hours were mentioned particularly often. Here is a selection of the feedback:

"I think your support is great, the development meetings are also very helpful and the exchange is excellent." (Elke Buder)

"Friendly, highly competent staff who like to interact with children. Inviting, friendly atmosphere and good communication with parents." (Leila Chaleb)

"The childcare center is an absolute dream for us working parents and especially for our child." Ilyana Joerss

"We feel very comfortable and our daughter loves going to her group every day." (Maria Willerding)

"The exchange in the app, knowing if and when the child eats, sleeps, goes to the bathroom, getting pictures, being informed about birthdays parties, events"

"It's great that the children get fresh and healthy food cooked for them every day."

"... the animal-assisted pedagogy, the great people who work there!"

"The exchange via the pme app is great. Friendly educators and few childcare absences compared to other facilities."

Every feedback is received

We are delighted that so many families took part in the parent survey. This gives us important information about the areas in which parents are satisfied and where there is room for improvement. We use a defined process to ensure that all feedback is received by the respective childcare center : After the evaluation, the survey team sends the results to the site managers, the specialist advisors and the facility managers. The on-site specialist advisory team discusses the results with the managers, the teams then evaluate them and develop possible improvements if there was critical feedback.

zero How does exercise affect our psyche? | Podcast "Cheerful to stormy"

Episode 38: Why exercise is good for our psyche

Exercise has a positive effect on our body and on our psyche. More and more studies are pointing to this. In this episode, we have coach and yoga teacher Fjodor Kendzierski as a guest, who takes a closer look with us at the effects of sport on our well-being and explains how much exercise we need and how we can manage to get moving even when we don't have enough time.

Your thoughts are racing, your body is under pressure and everything is stressful? When you exercise, your body releases endorphins, helps to reduce stress hormones such as cortisol and improves the quality of your sleep. In short: exercise affects our whole body and mind and strengthens our mental well-being.

But we often find it difficult to start exercising overnight - and to stick to it even more. A busy schedule or simply a lack of motivation prevent us from getting on the treadmill or putting on our jogging shoes. Yet exercise is important when we have a desk job and our bodies suffer from sedentary "work". And sport is also an important "to do" to stay mobile into old age.

In this podcast episode we discuss:

  • What effect does movement have on our lives?
  • Which sport suits me best: yoga, weight training, jogging or cardio?
  • Train in the morning or in the evening?
  • How can I stay mobile into old age?
  • How much exercise is good to start with?
  • How do I integrate sport into my everyday life and make it a habit?
  • Practical tips for people with little time
