This renewed award motivates us to continue finding and developing creative solutions for our employees."
Also present , pme CEO Alexa Ahmad , who participated in the panel discussion on the 2025 motto "#agematters," added: "At pme Familienservice , we already place great emphasis on age-conscious work. This certificate is an incentive for us to do even more in this regard. We want to make even better use of the advantages and skills of the different generations in the future."
Continuous implementation of family-friendly measures
The certificate confirms the continuous implementation and further development of family-friendly measures within the company. As part of the audit, both strategic goals and concrete measures were defined, which were documented in a target agreement and implemented during the three-year certification period.
This year the audit focuses on three key topics:
- Intergenerational collaboration aims to consider the diverse needs and expectations of the various generations within the company and jointly create initiatives that support them. Formats such as the Generation Talk, training for generation managers, the "Ready for Retirement" campaign, and the "HerHealth" lecture series are some of the measures implemented in this area.
- Digital Balance , which examined how digital tools can improve the balance of work and family life while ensuring that all employees can actively participate in this change. The use of AI tools, the option for video counseling in personal crisis situations, networking through Microsoft Teams, and even workations are some of the services used by pme team members.
- Strengthening team spirit to promote cohesion within the company and create a supportive working environment in times of challenges such as skilled labor shortages and increased sickness rates. This includes, among other things, expanding an internal team skills pool, providing opportunities to gain experience in other departments through job rotation, and a strong feedback culture.
Among the measures that pme Familienservice GmbH has also successfully implemented in recent years, including flexible working hours, mobile office options, digital teams and the promotion of women in management positions.
