Enjoyable and healthy through the holidays
Some of us binge on feast after feast during the holidays. The result, in addition to a few extra kilos, is a feeling of fullness, stomach pain and tiredness. pme colleague and nutritionist Linda Paech explains how you don't have to miss out on indulgence and still stay fit and healthy.
Against the feeling of fullness
Immediately after a large meal, drink 250 ml of still mineral water with 1 teaspoon of healing clay mixed in for internal use.
The healing clay forms a huge surface in the stomach and binds the fats. The feeling of fullness and nausea disappear after 10 to 15 minutes.
Against too many sweets, alcohol and coffee
Many use the Christmas season not only to indulge, but also to consume other indulgences such as Christmas chocolate, a little schnapps afterwards or good coffee.
Take plenty of vitamin C, B vitamins and magnesium. You can find vitamin C in kiwis, oranges and peppers, for example, B vitamins are found in pulses and cereals and magnesium in nuts.
The all-round remedy: a walk in the fresh air
Use these days to go for long walks with the family, even if you're more of a fair-weather type. After all, long walks in the fresh air not only melt away the pounds, they are also great exercise:
1. good for the heart
2, Good for the skin
3. good for sleep
4. good against stress
5. good for the bones
6. good for your backIwish you an enjoyable Christmas season!
