A day that makes a difference: this was Health Day 2025
More than 3,000 people joined together digitally on October 9 for the fifth Health Day - a strong sign of the growing importance of health and mental strength in everyday working life. Live from the pme Academy Hamburg, Margit Werner, Head of the Hamburg office, welcomed the participants with warm words, opening a special day full of inspiration and genuine community.
Margit Werner, site manager of pme Familienservice GmbH Nord, welcomed the audience.
Presenters Jessica Mina Knopp and Sarah Raupach led the audience through four hours full of impulses, discussions and real goosebump moments with a great deal of empathy, energy and professionalism.
What made Health Day 2025 special was that the participants were not just spectators, but an active part of the event. Live chats were used to discuss, ask questions and share experiences.
Health Day 2025 thus became a day full of strength, encouragement and community - a digital event that inspired, gave food for thought and will continue to have an impact for a long time to come. A strong signal for more health, cohesion and openness in the world of work.
Prof. Dr. Dietrich Grönemeyer: Dealing consciously with stress and health
Prof. Dr. Dietrich Grönemeyer at the Health Day 2025.
Physician and scientist Prof. Dr. Dietrich Grönemeyer provided an important impetus for dealing with stress at the Health Day. In his presentation, he emphasized how important it is to share knowledge about a healthy lifestyle - and that companies have a great responsibility in this regard.
He demonstrated in a practical way how we can get a grip on anxiety and stress ourselves: Spending time in nature, seeking support from friends or therapists, consciously going offline, laughing or dancing - all of these help to sustainably strengthen our own well-being. Small tricks such as "jumping in at the deep end" or targeted breathing techniques that calm the nervous system are also effective.
His talk was an encouraging call to take responsibility for one's own health and to actively find new ways of dealing with stress - as individuals and as a community.
Laura Fröhlich: Making invisible work visible - sharing mental load
Laura Fröhlich makes mental load visible and gives tips for a more relaxed everyday life.
With a great deal of empathy and clarity mental load expert Laura Fröhlich made visible what often remains invisible in everyday life: the countless tasks that run in the background, especially for family managers.
Mental load - this permanent mental stress - is not an individual weakness, but the result of social expectations and role models.
Her tip: distribute tasks together in the "kitchen meeting" and involve children right from the start. Her presentation was an appreciative impulse to talk openly about stress and to work together to provide more relief.
Michèle Penz: Health Trends - Healthy living between hype and everyday life
Michèle Penz knows the latest health trends.
Michèle Penz, Head of pme Health, took a close look at current health trends and showed that not all that glitters is gold. Whether dietary supplements, Sleepmaxing or AI training plans - healthy skepticism is required.
She particularly encouraged small exercise challenges and shared rituals in everyday life, because together it is easier to keep going. Her most important message: health is not a sprint, but a long-distance run.
The basis remains simple - a balanced diet, exercise, sufficient sleep, stress management and social contacts. Companies can provide support by making health a topic of conversation and facilitating an open exchange.
Miriam Höller: The power of resilience - facing challenges with courage
Strong: Miriam Höller moved the audience.
Former stuntwoman and speaker Miriam Höller told her impressive life story with great openness and strength at the Health Day. After a serious accident in which she broke both her feet, the doctors' prognosis was that she would never be able to walk again. Just as she was struggling to fight her way back to life, her partner was killed in an accident.
How do you get through such a difficult life crisis? Miriam Höller touched the audience with her strength. She showed how we can grow through challenges if we take responsibility for our lives.
Her talk was an inspiring impulse that encouraged people to take on challenges, strengthen their own resilience and actively shape their lives - even when things don't go according to plan.
Dr. Pop: The power of music
Dr. Pop impressed with his expertise and humor.
The brilliant finale was provided by musicologist and cabaret artist Dr. Pop, who brought the power of music to life with an electric piano, sample pad and a good dose of humor. With lively live interludes, surprising song examples and a good dose of humor, he impressively demonstrated how music strengthens our well-being and connects people.
Together with all the members of the Health Day organizing team, he transformed the studio into a choir and showed how music connects, awakens emotions and creates lightness. An inspiring finale that resonated for a long time and whetted the appetite for more music in everyday life.
Health Day 2025 was a day full of strength, encouragement and community - a digital event that inspired, gave food for thought and showed that Health is best achieved together.
