High Sensitivity in Children – Understanding and Guiding Highly Sensitive Children

Topic:

Some children seem more thoughtful and compassionate than others, while also showing greater sensitivity to stress of any kind. They appear to be overly or highly sensitive. High sensitivity is a psychological phenomenon that is not yet well known in Germany. According to researchers, some children have an innate tendency and ability to perceive information and stimuli more comprehensively and process them more thoroughly than other people. Looking at the positive aspects of high sensitivity, they sound like little superheroes. The senses of highly sensitive people are constantly on alert and register even the slightest change. In addition, they are usually very conscientious and attentive, have a keen sense of the emotional lives of those around them, and often amaze them with their seemingly seventh sense. In this lecture, you will learn how you as parents can best deal with these special needs!
