Tip: Turn cardboard rolls into tree decorations

Break-proof and attractive: we show you how to make simple and creative tree decorations from cardboard and masking tape in no time at all.

What you need:

• Cardboard rolls (preferably from toilet paper, they are the right length)
• Colorful masking tape (crayons etc. will also do in a pinch)
• a stapler
• a pair of craft scissors
• thick needle to pierce holes in the cardboard
• Ribbon for hanging
• some patience and spit

By the way, the hangers also look nice when they are not glued and cut so precisely. Just let your children try them out...

Cut a cardboard roll lengthwise, ...

Fold in the middle,...

open again,...

Cover with colorful adhesive tape (keep distances),...

Cut in up to the (here) red marking,...

Staple together at the sides, pierce holes at the top edge and attach a ribbon and fan out a little: DONE!
