Change at the top: Dr. Daniel Erler takes over as CEO of the pme Familienservice
Berlin, May 4, 2026 – The pme Familienservice , Germany’s leading provider of Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and family support services, has completed a change in leadership effective May 1, 2026: Dr. Daniel Erler is taking over as CEO from Alexa Ahmad.
Alexa Ahmad, the long-time managing director, will hand over management of the company to Dr. Daniel Erler on May 1, 2026. During her 33 years with the company—more than 18 of which she spent as managing director—Alexa Ahmad has built the pme Familienservice into Germany’s leading provider of employee assistance programs. She is committed to continuing and expanding a unique form of participatory corporate culture.
The shareholders and more than 2,000 team members of the pme Familienservice would like to thank Alexa Ahmad for her innovative and successful contributions. They wish her all the best in her new passion projects.
A generational transition with a clear vision for the future
Dr. Daniel Erler has been with the pme Familienservice since 2006 and, as Head of Corporate Communications since 2012, has played a key role in driving the company’s strategic positioning and digital transformation. In his role as Managing Director of pme Familienholding GmbH, he already represents the founding shareholders within the shareholder group of pme Familienservice .
