How can artificial intelligence be used at school and in the classroom? Is it okay for students to do their homework using ChatGPT? And what is the best way to use AI for assignments? We simply asked the AI itself and asked ChatGPT for an interview.

Can you give an example of a prompt?

Such a prompt gives clear instructions on the desired response. It specifies the topic, requests an explanation with a focus on the effects and specifies a maximum number of characters in order to receive a precise and compact answer. Such prompts help to obtain specific information from ChatGPT.

How do you assess the situation? Do you think we won't need teachers in 10 years because an AI will be able to teach learning content better?

ChatGPT: It is unlikely that AI will completely replace teachers in the next 10 years. Teachers play an important role in providing individualized attention, fostering critical thinking and social development. However, AI can play a supporting role by creating personalized learning pathways, performing automated assessments and improving access to educational content. The role of teachers will evolve to capitalize on the opportunities of AI-enhanced education and prepare students to use technology. There will be a symbiotic relationship between AI and teachers, rather than a complete replacement.
