The heart of the childcare center software is the parent app. It simplifies communication between parents and the pedagogical teams and ensures that parents can participate even more in their child's everyday life at the facility.
Log in and log out at the touch of a finger
With the check-in/check-out system, parents can easily register their child at childcare center in the morning and check them out again in the afternoon, or inform us from home if their child is absent, for example due to vacation or illness. This way, the educational team always knows which children are in the building at what time.

An eventful excursion, an exciting experiment or a child's first steps at nursery - these are all moments that parents can easily share thanks to the parent app. The digital daily log sent directly to their smartphone also tells them when and what their child ate, how long they slept and when they had their nappy changed.

Parents have been using the pme parent app in our learning worlds since January 2017 and receive information about sleeping, eating and changing diapers directly on their smartphone. We also regularly send short reports on what the individual groups have experienced as 'diary entries' - always with photos. We also use the photo function for settling-in sessions or if a child has had a less than perfect start to the day. A picture of a child playing happily says more than an 'All's well' text message.
The app is very well received by parents. They feel well informed and are happy to receive messages from their child. The team saves time thanks to the digital documentation, which benefits both the children and the parents. It is particularly important to us that the information via the app does not replace the personal conversation at pick-up. However, thanks to the parent app, we spend less time on everyday things such as meals and bedtimes, and are better able to discuss what the child has experienced and how they have fared throughout the day. It's a great experience for the families to talk about the day together in the evening using the photos and diaries.
