To the data protection settings "Since April 1 of this year, it has been legal in Germany for adults to possess cannabis for private consumption. Some people are happy about this, but others are critical. Will legalization lead to increased consumption and addiction? Will everyone come to work stoned now?
The transition from an "after-work beer" or a few joints at the weekend to an alcohol or cannabis addiction is usually gradual. Even when it comes to harder drugs such as cocaine or ecstasy, many users are not aware of their situation.

The advice hotline of the Federal Center for Health Education (BZgA) on addiction prevention also provides personal advice on local help and advice services.
It can be reached on 0221 89 20 31 from Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and from Friday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at a price according to the telephone provider's price list for calls to the Cologne local network.
